As many of you are probably aware, Rufus has sustained an injury to his left hand. Which means he will be a lot quieter than usual for the next two to six months. I know your immediate thoughts are about how peaceful it is going to be around here, the same as I thought at first, but let's face it he is a huge part of this community and it won't be the same without hearing from him constantly!! :D

On a serious note though, I would like to wish Rufus a quick recovery and to wish for him that his surgery goes well and that he has no long lasting damage. Get well soon Rufus!! Take it easy, rest your hand!! :)

Thank you Leon. I'm down, but not out. After a few days the silence will be deafening. Perhaps, I could make a small mp3 file for everyone. Yeah, that's the ticket. When we lose our sense of humor, we lose everything. Yes I am hurting, yes, it will hopefully get better with no permanent damage, and although this is an unpleasant experience, what does not kill me will only make me stronger. This is GOD'S will for me, I just need to figure out what I am supposed to learn besides the obvious, which is be more careful. Thank you in advance everyone for your support

We're here for you sweetheart, You just need to focus on getting your hand better and have your mindset on that. It's a shame you are going to be so quiet but you will bounce back and be just as you were before. I'm sure there are many things you would have like to have said the last few days already but can't quite get them letters out due to typing one handed. ( I could say something smutty but I won't I will behave )

You are still around and that's the MAIN thing.

Just had hand surgery myself. Really hope you feel better soon!

The board will be too quiet without you so hopefully you will be able to visit at least a few times. So, all the best wishes to you, from my heart and I hope that you will not be too bored while recuperating and being away from the board . :smile:
