This month was a fairly easy choice. The Player of the Month Award for October 2011 goes to Kingtutt.

Kingtutt is quite a story. He was banned last year for arguing with an ex-staff member in the shoutbox. I lifted the ban about 4 months ago, but he did not return. I lifted the ban, because as it says in my profile, everyone deserves a 2^nd chance.

What finally got tutt to come back was a plea for help from me. There was a member that I suspected of cheating, and although tutt is not a cheater, he knows about most of the different “scoring shortcuts”, and can easily detect them. Long story short, the player was clean and tutt stayed.

Now, enough background, on to POTM. Tutt is amazing. When he 1^st showed up last year, I pm’ed one of the other admins, and expressed my concerns. “No one is that good”, I wrote. The response I received, knocked me out of my seat. “Tutt IS that good”, and from that day on, I have never questioned his score. Besides his amazing game play, approaching 3^rd place on the trophy board after just 68 short days, compiling an impressive 1067 1^st place trophies, of which 978 are HOF scores, with only 9 games out of the top 3. The thing that impresses me the most is the leader board. His average finish is 1.13 which puts him in a class by himself. By comparison, anything in the low 2’s is considered near greatness.

There are other things you should know about tutt. He is a changed person since coming back. He is pleasant, and would almost rather chat in the shoutbox than play a game. When asked about how to play a certain game, he has no hesitation about telling someone his methods, so they can improve their scores. I know for me, he makes me a better gamer, because he sets the bar so high. I have actually regained some of the trophies that he has taken from me, something I could never do the 1^st time around.

When he was here the 1^st time, he was kind of full of himself, not hesitating to let someone know how good he was. Now, he is just one of the boys, staying very low key. I’m not sure what brought about this change of heart, but I suspect his wife, who plays under the name Simba, has something to do with it. For those of you that knew him when he was here before, I implore you, open your heart and your mind, and get to know this new tutt. You won’t regret it.

We have become good friends, even video chatting on skype. He is a pleasure to have around and an asset to this site. Thank you Brad, and congratulations on Player of the Month for October 2011.

An Arcade to me now is Having fun playing games getting to know people and A laugh along the way most of all Friendship and a Cool community And this Site has all of This :biggrin:

Well done Tutt you have acheived a great score since comming back to the site.

I personally did not know you before so I only know the Tutt who is here now and you have always been very polite and a good laugh in the shoutbox and willing to tell me if a games looks wrong so thank you.

Thought i better get in here and make a reply, he had a go the other day as i read all the posts and didn't reply..lol

What can i say he is an amazing gamer and always has been we can't even play games together on our gaming consoles as he get's s***ty at us if we don't play properly or if we say we can't do it, he replies with there is no such thing as can't and it takes practice, well we play for fun and give up very easily...lol lol

Can't say i had much to do with the new and improved Brad but i did have words with him when he rejoined. He is a great guy and has time for anyone with all questions on how to play as he likes competition and if he can help to make someone make him work hard for a game he is happy. On the other hand if he has to work to hard he is unbearable to be near and we have his computer set up in loungeroom and sometimes we hear some pretty colourful language come out of his mouth..lol The kid's go daddy no swear words in the lounge room hahah

So congratulations honey well deserved it was painful to live with you over those 70 day's but now you have it your a nice man again and not a grumpy old man.

No more target's Rufus or i will fly over there and give you a good spanking !!!
